Hello everyone! Sometimes you've watched a movie and after or even during the movie you are wondering: "Why am I watching this?". One of the worst movies that I can think of is "Disaster Movie". Basically I was wondering what you think would be yours? And why do you think the movie was such a fail? Thanks!

There was a '50's sci fi movie, sometimes called Attack of the Robot Monsters. It cost $16,000 to film. The Robot Monsters (there were only 2) wore gorilla suits with diving helmets. But it was made in 3D.

There were a number of 3D movies made in the '50's. They were mostly science fiction but even the 3 Stooges did a short in 3D. Computer technology was almost unknown in the '50's. Remember, solid state technology only appeared at the end of the '50's. Computers up til then were tube based. The integrated circuit was invented in 1958.

I think you mean that it was made using computer technology, but still in the 50s that wasn't usual, was it?

I haven´t seen that one, but yeah I also watch a lot of movies. Well Disaster Movie for some reason came to mind when I thought of this topic, for you it might not be that worse but I guess it´s all about opinions aswell. It might just be the title that made this movie so bad ;)

I won't forget this movie, I've seen this years ago with my College friends. The movie title is "Turn On". It was so bad that we just laugh through the movie. The story is like this, there was a scientist who invented a remote and this is connected to a girl. Whenever he turn the remote on the girl become flirty and seductive and will try to seduce who ever man is with her.

That sounds like quite a bad movie. It's amusing that sometimes a certain movie is just so stupid, that you can't stop laughing about it. After all you've had an entertaining night, right?

I'm not sure if this is the actual title of the movie, because O watched it in my native language, and of course I don't remember the title, so I was looking for it on the Internet, and the one that I found and looked the most similar was Sabretooth. Anyway, the film I'm talking about is a Z-category catastrophe movie about some supernaturally evil and dangerous sabretooth tiger, and people somewhere (an island? or wasn't it an island? nevermind) trying to get away from it... and it was like a really bad horror movie, with such unoriginal character from the nerd to the macho guy and the cute girl, who of course, got together at the end, and everyone else was hunted off by the tiger... it was so cliche and bad...

Sounds like one of those typical horror failures. I also think that most bad movies are horror's. It seems to me that from all the bad movies I've seen, most of them were horror. Of course I'm not stating that horror's are generally bad, but like I said, most of the time it is horror that isn't good.

I think the worst movie I have seen so far would be Plasterhead. I'm pretty sure it was meant to be similar to Pumpkinhead, but it's so bad. The acting is horrible, the worst I've seen, ever. It was, however, fun to watch with a friend of mine and just laugh at how bad it was. I love watching bad movies and laughing at them.

I guess watching horrible movies are of course not worth paying for or watching it seriously won't make you enjoy it. But I do agree with you, watching those bad movies is very enjoyable with a couple of friends, because laughing about them is enjoyable itself!

Oh man there are a lot of bad movies out there and that's why I don't end up watching a whole lot of movies, even the ones that are supposed to be good. I have to agree with you that some of the worst movies come from the parodies like Scary Movie, Epic Movie, Date Movie, etc. Most of those movies other than Scary Movie 1 and 2 with the Wayans Brothers aren't even remotely funny and just have basically the same kind of humor in each movie.

I think for me that would be Seed of Chucky (I've watched it a long time ago) because I liked the first movie and decided to give the others a go as well. Overall, I think it's so corny that it got stuck in my head for weeks. You're right about the Disaster Movie as well. I can add that to my list.
