Is it possible for the three monotheistic religions to come together as one?

I find it puzzling how the basic premise of one almighty God as believed by Christians, Jews, and Muslims could also disintegrate the world, often through violent and bloody actions. Having studied some of the "Holy Books", as a 'layman', I find it odd that how so much inconsistencies in the writings and how much falsehood can go unquestioned by seemingly educated and thinking humans. Or is it that man tends to be ignorant and forgetful when he feels he is now intelligent and he does not need God anymore? If one enters this discussion with hatred then I do not see any way that we could lead to a peaceful and rational conclusion. Do join me if you feel there is still a chance to save this world. Otherwise, wherever we go, we will be scared of shadows!

I think the old testament is fairly consistent in the 3 faith's but the difference comes in with Jesus and the Trinity. Also with Judaism and Islam there is the dispute over who was the legitimate descendants of Abraham. The bible says God made His covenant with Isaac, Abraham's son by his wife Sarah...Jewish nation, but islamists believe his other son Ishmael, which bible says was illegitimate son,is the true children of God. Only Christians believe Jesus is son of God, and God himself, so I can't see any way the 3 can completely agree.
