Dreaming about food

I always try my best to fight my cravings,thus I end up dreaming of the food I have been craving for.Once, I have dreamed of the mini-grocery store that is within walking distance from our house.It was filled with sweets,like candies,chocolates, ice-cream,candy canes,choco fondue and cotton candies. Few days before Christmas, I dreamed of eating bar-b-que and Isaw(local street food which is grilled large intestine of chicken). Yesterday,my husband promised me that we will eat samyapsal at the nearby restaurant but sadly,he is not feeling well now. I might dream of eating samyapsal tonight lols.Well, I don't mind at all.

Hi there Belle_of_the_Ball,
Most often times, I do also dreaming of some foods. And it feels great because often times, the food we have for the day are those foods that I saw in my dream.

Hahah my chocolate cake cravings go into my nocturnal dreams sometimes. By the time I wake up if I'm lucky to remember the craving would then still be active and I would just buy a slice of cake for myself. Luckily it's not always an every day thing.

probably, you are proving that freud is right afterall that our consciousness invades the unconscious when we go to sleep. food is one of our deepest desires and needs to satisfy. that's why it is quite normal that people crave for food, even in their subconscious state. well, like you, i don't mind dreaming about food. i mind if i dream of my deadlines.

LOL! well these days i am not dreaming of food. But hell i remember when i was on water diet. I dream't of food every night. I dream't of hot savory chicken puffs, tarts, choco cakes, cheesecakes oh god and i am hungry once again.
It is actually hard for me to control my tongue but i need to do that now as i am not eating out and i am on simple diet these days.
