How do you think your guy would handle being in labor pain? Here is a blog about 2 men that get to feel what it's like for women to be in labor pain the close way for any man to know what it is like. http://blogs.babycenter.com/mom_stories/01182013watch-these-guys-man-up-for-labor/ Feel free to read it if you want to if not that is okay as well. What do you think? I think if my husband did this he would probably start crying because well he doesn't deal with pain nor blood very well.

Obviously you learned this news earlier than me. I just read this news yesterday and then posted it as a discussion. I think that men shall experience the labor pain because therefore they can understand it is not easy to be a mom. So it is fair for him to take more responsibilities and help to do some housework. He shall try the best to treat his wife well.

That is the one reason why facebook is awesome I get all the latest news from babycenter on my page feed the moment I log in. Anything that has to do about children facebook knows about it before the News even get it even before yahoo News. It's not about it being how hard it is to be a mom or women just what is it like for a women to be in labor what she might feel because man will never really get that at all. It's not any easier for men to be fathers then is for a women to be a mother. No one has it easier then the other because they both have responsibilities over there child.

I have to disagree with I think there are some men that could handle it just like some women can handle it. I've had two babies with no pain kills at all. First baby 16 hours long the next was 6 hours long. I wouldn't ask a guy to do it but if a guy wanted to I think they should because then maybe they will understand what it is like for us women to go throw the pain and some going throw that pain is worth it. I know my husband he wouldn't handle it and I still get people telling me they don't know how I did it but it's possible it just all depends on you and what you can handle and I can handle a lot.

I don't think the strongest man could endure labor pains and then having to deliver the baby! NO...they can't do it!

Hiya shybear, I think that maybe some of them could put up with "labour pains" but of course they cannot give birth the same way no way. What I wonder is if they could bear the having to carry the weight of the child inside them and all the changes we continually go through during that time? Does anyone really think if they could put up with that as well? It maybe much more than what they imagine because although pregnancy is not an illness us girls all get to feel different and if we get through the pregnancy with no problems at all we are very lucky indeed then comes the big day and the exhaustion, the emotions we go through as well. Us girls are made to cope with all that whilst they are not just my way of seeing it. xxx

I am glad they went through that and I wish ALL men went through it since "some" men think it is so easy to go through labor! Now these 2 guys are seeing it is NOT easy at all! I don't think MOST men could go through that pain for 2 hours!

I'm sure some guys could handle it but probably not all because no even us women some times can handle it ourselves either. I do agree think all guys should try it to have a better understanding what it is like for us women. Some men understand it with out even having to feel what it feels like. I know my husband he would be crying like a school girl that lost her dolly. He doesn't know how I handle it with no pain kills for 16 hours and 6 hours. I've been told I'm a brave soul for doing that but I just told them no not brave I know what I wanted and I tried it like I wanted to and I was ready both times to crave if I had to.
