I'm a member of Helium and the way for you to make money on this site is to write articles. You can earn direct payment for articles if you choose to write to titles that are in the assignment section. If your article is chosen, you'll receive between $1 to $3 for the article. If you're not chosen then you can still earn from page views. Even if you're chosen, you will still earn money from page views. What this means is that every time a visitor reads your article, you will get paid by Helium. Another method to earn money on Helium is to rate articles. Once you've got five rating star by the end of the month, you'll be paid $3. And another thing to note is that you will need to have at least one rating star to earn from page views so it's advisable that you rate. Another method to earn money on Helium is to enter the contests which is available on a weekly basis. I've never participated in the contest but new contest usually comes out on Wednesday if I'm not mistaken. So look out for it.
