I was up at 4 am and found myself having a hard time going back to sleep. Also, if I go back to bed, I know I won't be able to wake up by 5:30 to prepare for school. So I have decided to come online instead at such a wee hour. I had tried waking up at 4 am and going back to bed again after that and woke up rushing because it was too late already. How about you? What time do you wake up? Do you think 4 am is too early for you?

4AM is like my sleeping time to be honest. (I'm starting to live a nocturnal life. LOL) When I was not like this, 4AM is too early for me. I usually woke up at 6 or 7 'cause my class is like 9AM -- travel time to school is like an hour depending on the traffic here in our place.

Our sleeping habits have greatly changed indeed because of many changes brought about by our lifestyle.

Reading this discussion makes me miss how it feels to sleep at night. I have been working night-shift these past four years and sometimes it makes me think of those old days where I get to sleep at night. I get the weekends off but even though I'm not at work, my body is already attune to my sleeping routine in the last four years. If I don't have work, I'm normally awake during the night up until early morning. I can't even figure out what to do sometimes especialyl if I don't want to go online. Everyone in the house is sound asleepp while I'm wide awake in the middle of the night trying to think how I can while away my time. It's frustrating sometimes but I can't complain that much. If I don't work, I don't have the money. And if I don't have the money, I won't be able to help out my family. I'm still thankful for all the blessings I have been receiving from God. Happy myLotting! :)

are u 18 years old cutie? older people (myself) usually never goes back to bed after waking up regardless of the time. with young people, they can sleep again. Try to balance your time of sleep, too early for bed timemeans early wake up. its just a system generated thing on ur head ;-)

Oh yes, definitely 4AM is way too early for my regular waking time. But if I have to, then I know I can. Not that I have to like it, right? Anyway, when I was still in school, I would make sure that I have at least 2 hours lead time before my class starts and that includes my travel time. My first class then when I was a senior in college starts at 7:30AM so I make sure I am up by 5-5:30AM. Beyond that, I know I will have to skip breakfast, skip a beautifully styled hair and just shove in a pony tail or cap and rush out.
