Hello Lotters,
That's a really great news, while their site is growing they are also spreading their branches through out Asia. sometimes it's kinda disguised blessing when China rejected Google because of these censorship issues.
Now, they are finally setting up an Office here in the Philippines and also HIRING
. they started screening people since early last year, it's gotta be those job fairs they participated with. . cool also that a former friendster official works on this new branch hehe.

oh thats wonderful. =) I would guess that everything is going to be cool in there. I am sure you all havw seen how great ther america office is and i sure hope its going to be like that as well here. I wonder where their office is... Hehe if that is the case i guess i would love to try and see if i can apply there... But if its in makati... Maybe never mind. Haha

That really is good news! I hope this means our IT-related community will get the boost they need. It's kind of sad to see so many awesome Filipinos struggling just because there's really either no awareness or support for our IT industry.
Do you have any idea what specifically an office here will entail? It seems I was right to think that they'l be helping the local community but what exactly will they do, I wonder? Hopefully they can boost our IT industry. We're always among the top in terms of freelancing, so I hope they can utilize that and uplift the Filipinos here, in our country, as well.

Wow!!! What a very beautiful news. I love to hear this news ! This means job opening for Filipinos , and this is a great news , many Filipinos who are brilliant in IT, now it is the time for them to shine . Not only programmer who can be given chance but i guess all levels , from top to bottom , from managerial position to janitorial services. Wishing all the best for this new company.

YES!! thats great news!!! Now because of new office there will be more employment channels open. more people now can earn more than few cents per day.
