September can't come soon enough.

With all the trouble we've been having with the one roommate of ours, our landlord has made the decision that the roommate will not be allowed to live here as of September. This guy is almost constantly drunk. On Christmas eve, he came upstairs totally trashed and started talking garbage to us. It was absolute nonsense. The police were called, but they didn't do anything at all. The next morning we find out that he stole a game system belonging to my brother in law, claimed that he didn't touch it. But it had been removed, he left all the cords behind. When the police came again, they told him to return it, he still claimed that he hadn't touched it. But it mysteriously returned after the police left. I'd told the landlord about all of this, and he said enough was enough. He was tired of this and didn't want to have to keep coming back because of this guy. The carpet in the basement is a mess, we told him that it was because our roommate refused to take off his shoes when he came in, even though the lease stated no shoes in the house. We now have to steam clean the carpet downstairs, but have agreed not to do so until he leaves because he'll continue to mess it up. September can't come soon enough, but at least once it does come, he will be gone, and so will our troubles.

September! that man should be out of that apartment now. You clearly can't trust him and he shouldn't be living there. I never heard of giving a tenant that much time especially when they steal and tear up the apartment. Is there any way you could get rid of him sooner?

Unfortunately he's on the current lease which expires at the end of August. When we go to renew it, he will not be on it and will be gone. My landlord wants to make sure it's all legal, he doesn't want to screw it up for himself.
