9 year old boy shot and killed in his own home

I was listening to the radio this morning, and this came on. It's so sad to hear this happening, sadly it's all completely normal now a days.
This boy was in his own home (suppose to be safe), he was shot and killed either late last night or early this morning in the city.
They suspect someone was shooting outside, either into the house, or a stray bullet. He was rushed to a Toronto hospital, where he later died.

How very sad! Another child killed for no reason at all. Today you are not safe anywhere anymore. Not in your home, yard, mall, school, theatre, the street. It is horrible what this world has become. When I was growing up I felt completely safe in my home, yard, school, theatre etc.. I feel so bad for the kids growing up in this world today. They are not safe anywhere and it will continue unfortunately. Things will not get better anytime soon because people have no respect for life anymore.

I heard about that too. Then there was that 12 year old in Montreal who shot his 16 year old brother a few days earlier.
I guess when your time's up, it's up, no matter how much or little of it you got.
