Plz don't treat me like family!!

Isn't it funny how a whole lot of us would treat a stranger better than we treat our own family. Do you have people in your family who have been paid to do things for strangers but won't do these same things for their loved ones for free? Do you know people who are so much nicer to people they aren't related to than they are to those who does? I remember my husband cleaned this man's bathroom and stove really good, and they paid and complimented him. I can't remember the last time he cleaned our stove or bathtub. He paints for a living and does a really good job at it. But he walks right past the things that my kids write on the wall and does nothing about it. I've seen him smile and be so nice to other people's kids. But he is either disinterested or a disciplinarian to the kids in my family. Weird, huh? I say try your hardest to be good to those you love because at the end of the day, that's all you really have... if you're lucky.

In my family, we never treated ourselves even there are strangers out there, who may visit our home. If we have visitors, we treated them like our own family. I don't think that we need to be pleasant and turn out back from the family. Though, some family are like what you have described.

Your husband doesn't value the importance of a family. I am so sad that you are having this experience in life but don't worry, all you have to do is focus with you children, don't let them grow by not learning to value important things in life, let them feel you love them most for they will never let you down in the future.
