Since we will have a company outing abroad we need to get a passport for us to travel. And its nice to know that we have now an online registration to get passport. You can register on your own specified date and time in just a click. You just have to log in on dfa.gov.ph. Fill up required info and choose your date. Thatd easy. You just have to wait for your schedule to come and prepare for the required docs.

Yeah, I agree that passport application nowadays here in the Philippines are much faster than before. Aside from the online application they also placed some satellite office in malls so you don;t need to go to the main office for your application.

It sounds very easy to get a passport in the Philippines. I live in the United Kingdom and here the passport application is more difficult. Passport photos are very strict with no smiling and a closed mouth. The application form is quite long and there are strict rules about filling it out. A child needs a professional person to sign the form and photo. The professional person must have known the child and the child's parent for two or more years. Sometimes an adult applicant has to have a personal interview. An adult passport lasts ten years and a child's passport only lasts five years. The Post Office do a check and send service so I do that most usually. The passports get sent in the post and this takes around 3 weeks.

Really? Can't imagine no smiling face on you passport. Will it be invalid once you smile or they wont process? Sori to hear that. Here on yhe philippines we have also required docs in getting passport but not to the point that smiling is prohibited. Do you also have online registration? Anyway, still good that adult passport expiration in your country is longer than ours. We have only 5 yrs passport validity for the entire citizens in the philippines

two of my cousins will have to renew their passport and we chose megamall. there's an online setting of appointment available and we grabbed it. is it easier to renew in the dfa? we chose the megamall renewal because we think there will be a lot of people in the dfa-roxas boulevard office.
