Facebook Games, I used to like them but now...

Most of my friends from high school and college preferred Facebook games since it's free online. I played Facebook games before, mostly those made by playfish. But since playfish removed several of their games, I was really disappointed to have all my records gone (from Word Challenge, Biggest Brain and Geo Challenge). Then and there I never wanted to play on Facebook anymore. So pros & cons, Facebook games, almost all of them, are time consuming before you level up. It's either you pay to get items/experience points or spend a long time and effort. Truth is, I hate that scheme. (I also hate it when there are items exclusively made for real money) So I hate myself too for being attracted and foolishly lured by the game play and graphics that covered all that fishy tactics. The only pros I can think of is that you can play with your friends online (like tetris battle) and compare scores or level. But cheating engines destroy this feature. Overall, I'm really disappointed I ever played facebook games -

Facebook games? I don't play them and have never really tried and never really wanna try these games at all. Why? It is because I believe I don't have time for those games. It will waste my precious time and I am not the type of person who can afford wasting time. Time to me is a very precious commodity so I take advantage of every tick of the hour by using it in productive things. Playing games at FB is never productive. It is rather addictive and addition is always bad. I can never be addict in any sort of way. So you can't see me playing FB games or whatever online games for that matter.

I used to play Facebook games too. Now I rarely play and the only game I play is Texas Holdem (Poker). I've got tired of other games that require you to ask items from your friends in order to proceed. It could be annoying to keep on asking for items and usually the quantity needed is really many, I don't want to bug my friends all the time.

People... like Facebook games? I think they like the addiction of collecting things, not the actual game itself. They're blinded by the reality that they're basically selling their public information to the highest bidder all for what, a pair of wings or a new pair of "virtual boots"? Not a big fan of them, but I can see the market appeal as to why people like them so much.

Last time, I used to play a lot of Facebook games, requested help and I also got fulfill my friends' offers. I played Cafe World, Farmville, Treasure Isle and many more. At that time, I'm had more free time in between, but now my schedule in life is getting more tighter. I don't have much time to spend to play the Facebook games, and instead I only can fulfill my friends' requests. That too whenever I had the freetime which is sometimes.

i totally agree with you that many of the facebook games are just time consuming and just take more efforts than we think of but on the other side they are fun and many of them like farmville (and other zynga games),zooworld are quite addictive. i used to play farmville a lot before but as far it gains popularity all the good stuff on it become to buy for real money so i had to left the game. i think farmville appears on the 1 page of facebook games. i really cant forgive but cant play it too. today also i sometimes go back and check the updates and events.

I agree, facebook games are nothing more then money suckers. They make games really difficult unless your give them money. then the games are easy for a little while then they want more money from you. They also add items and stuff like that, that you need to buy and cannot earn any other way so that you have to pay for it. Why do you think facebook makes soo much money?
