What did you give up for your children? I gave up extra time online that is for sure with my kids and of course every dime of money that we have to our children.

I gave up my job while I was pregnant. It was a tough decision but a brave one too. I will not go back to work until my baby is seven years old. Am a proud mother!

That is a long time. That isn't till your child is in fist grade.

For me it's like 7 years. I got a 2 year old and 5 month old and by then who knows we might have another little one. I like being a stay at home mom so I don't know if I would go back to working or not at all.

Yes it is. I am willing to wait that long; Five and half more years to go.

I gave up some things, but I think it was a fair trade. I am very happy with my two daughters and could not think of my life without them. If I had not had children, I would probably have more money and would have led a more shallow life.

Yeah I would give up everything for my kids. Mostly we gave up our money since that was pretty much all we could give up and we have done it many times for my little ones. After a while you don't really miss it too much.

I gave up staying at in a bed in a dorm at youth hostels and backpacker hostels. That apart from camping is the cheapest sort of accommodation. My son is in a wheelchair so when I am out with him I avoid going up steps.

Like you, I give up my money. I also gave up my freedom because I must stay still now. I feel like I gave up my life, not totally because I was forced to, either. But a lot of things that I used to do, I don't anymore. And I would do a lot of other things if I didn't have kids. Honestly, I probably would have parted ways with their father a long time ago, if he wasn't their father.

I don't miss much of anything. Just miss going out when I can to a movie or two. Was never a party girl anyways.
