Friends are like GEMSTONE ?

Some people say "Friends are like GEMSTONE, they are all PRICELESS" but I was thinking it is RIGHT to believe ?
I have lot of friends, but most of them left me behind. Some my friends talked to me back , they shared som of my secrets to others, and the worst is when people saw me they are laughing and I really don't know why and what's the problem ! My face is dirty ? No, its not ! I'm a conservatice and neat person. And one day I heard my friend talking to somebody and I heard what they are talking, me is their topic ,my friend shared my personal life about my family, I don't want to share it here, because it was a secret and only my friends knew it. So I can believed how they made it to me. So let me know, is "Friends are like Gemstone" ? Is true ?

Friends like gemstones. Should always appreciated and very difficult to separate. But that's only applied to a trully good friend. Who is hard to come by. And even a good friend, sometimes with time, when you don't see him/her for a long time, she/he can be changed can be distant.....Yeah that's a reality though. It's hard but I have grown to accept it. It's hard to trust my fellow humans, even the so-called good friend.

Yes they are like gemstones or gems. True friends are gemstones. Do you know why? At first they are just ordinary rock or mineral but rare, hard, shapeless and no brilliance at all. Then through the test of heat, polishing, cutting, from just acquaintances, these people are tested until only a few made it through the test of friendship.
If your found gemstones on the rack and purchase them, most likely you found the fake ones. Friendship takes all tests to prove everyone's worth, that includes you and me.
If they do this to you, then you got fake gemstones. The one that goes along with the candies or chocolates.

I know what you mean, as there are a lot of people as well that say or act like they are your friends when they have noone else or when they want something, or want to know about something.
There are other people that are rather two faced and no sooner they are nice to your face they are stabbing you in the back to others when you are not about.Some friends you just can not trust one bit as well.
Hard to even work out who your true friends are and some times it pays to not trust any of them.

"Friends are like gemstone" is a true saying. And you know that a gem is hard to find so with a real friend. Don't be sad that you were left by the persons you considered friends. This is but natural and part of reality. You will find more friends along your journey.

Not all friends are GEMSTONE, it only applies to the people who proved that they are your true friend. A true friend will never leak secrets of his friends to other. He will be always there in your bad times to support you. So as going by your experience it looks you have not found a true friend yet. So wait for a true friend to come in your life and you will realize then the above statement is true.

Yes, but you ms-enterpreted them all as friends. You knew them but to treat as your friends no they are not. Friend is a person who is there in your hard times. A person who will not make fun of you and used you as bit to their happiness. You must adjust yourself you are just very open to them. Learn to be at yourself. Remember even your shadow will leave you in your dark times. Reserve a secret foryourself, meaning learn to stablish privacy in your life.
