when you refuse a friend for some secret reason! / myLot

I just refuse to help one of my friend, we have worked for 2 years Look at her disappoint face, it make me upset, just beacause I can't help, not beacause I won't to help, should I explain it to her? But the reason is a secret, what should I do?

If it's a secret I don't think you have to tell her your reasons. I'm sure she knows that you would help her if you could. It's hard to not help a friend but you have to look out for your own well being first.

maybe she will find somebody to help her. I wasn't the only one who can help her . this thought make me feel better .

If your reason is secret then keep it secret. Not all the time we have to help friends specially if you also need to hep yourself. But I hope everything is for good and maybe if you can't help try to do something else for for your friend.

I'm not privy to all the details but with what you wrote, I think it is best to just tell your friend that you can't help her right now not because you don't want to but because of other personal reasons that you cannot disclose at the moment. If she is a true friend, she will understand you. Hope things pan out right between the two of you.
