Hey guys, i love to collect newspaper paper cuttings whenever there is any interesting article published on it. Today itself there was a small quiz over analysis of one's attitude and i could not waste a single moment to cut it so that i can play that game with others also.
In fact i have a special diary maintained for this purpose where i have stored all interesting articles like articles on magic numbers, keeping your skin clean, some mental games and tricks, etc.
What are your thoughts on this? Do u like to have this habit like me? Please do share your thoughts!

So, it only shows how interesting you are as a person coz you are also a wide reader. You are just like my dad. he not only collects important issues he comes across with but also has a compilation of all his articles that he made for various newspapers as well.

Ha ha ha, well in a way yes, i like to read stuffs and this is a way to make me aware of many things that are happening around me that can be anything and from any field. I am glad to hear that i share this trait with your dad also, he must have compiled many more things than me as he must have been doing this since long time.

You said it right! I have seen articles from his College days. He just loved writing for the school paper and contributes to the local newspaper in one of the small towns in Kyoto. He is now 72 but he doesn't look his age despite still doing tons of research work coz he is a Marine Bilogist, he still finds time to write for a newspaper in his local hometown in the Western Visayas Region of our Country.

Wow that is so great to hear about your father and i think there is no age bar in the world of education and knowledge, in fact i strongly believe that people who are involved actively in the literary works never get old and stay young forever. he he he. Hopefully i also stay young like your father.

they are really hard to come and these paper cuttings are awesome and they carry wonderful information and along with it keep it clean

Thanks a ton for sharing your valuable response. Yes u are absolutely right, only a correct person can judge out the real and interesting things from the newspapers. In fact it is really a great thing of cutting out the interesting parts from the newspapers. i find them extremely helpful for me as i have got info about many things that would have otherwise not reached me.

I used to do this back in high school. I would cut out some newspaper or magazine articles with pictures and sort of make like a scrapbook. Then I would write what I think and what I feel about the article. It's fun, because it's like looking back to a certain diary that is not about me and any other person.

Yes u are absolutely right it is nothing short of a scrapbook and i am glad to know that even u were doing it so actively during your high school days. in fact it is a very good way of expanding your knowledge over so many varied things. i have been immensely benefited by doing the same.

Thanks a ton for sharing your valuable response. Well i am glad to hear that even u cut interesting things from the newspapers. In fact even i have made a small folder although i have collected much cuttings so far. i do give them a read at times as they help me to get engaged. I find it a good habit and i hope others too develop such habit also.
