Miserable Food

India

Hi :) I am back with another 'good' topic to share with all especially Indians.. So i had went to this snall hotel which was quite normal for me to have a 'normal' dinner.. Here normal does not mean 'tasty'. It means, an OK food with low cost. In India, you won't get anything better with low money. That's why poor people suffer a lot... I was accompanied with my friend. So i asked my friend to order something. We had plain chapati, sabji and then Rice and Dal. You might think why i am telling all this.. For me, if i want to share, i will share full details..and not just know-how information. The dinner was quite good or maybe i could say, it would have been quite good...hadn't I found a dead worm in my plate! So pathetic is my country!

Yes, in India, this is really a great problem to have a healthy diet in a healthy atmosphere at a cheap rate. The reputed hotels and restaurants charge so high that the poor people cannot afford it. So they have to go the cheaper ones. But these cheap hotels do not care to follow the minimum basics of health and hygiene; the foods are usually prepared in an unhygienic condition, the kitchen being in an extremely filthy condition and the prepared foods are served to the customers in an even more unhygienic and dirty environment. The raw materials used for preparation of the foods are not preserved properly and are of very low quality. The government has a vital role to play for improvement of the condition as a whole but unfortunately both the Central and the states governments are least worried about it.

hi. that's really awful to know this. but literally speaking we do have dozens of hotels providing such pathetic service or rather say food and hygiene. but to avoid having such situations we should some good restaurants to have food which might be a bit costly but comparatively hygienic too.

Many hotels in our country are in these conditions only. If we want food at low cost, We have to go for this kind of hotels only. Nothing to complain about that. It is always better to choose some good hotels even if it costly. at last health matters a lot... Take Care...

Those small hotels always have poor conditions. The quality of the food isn't good, utensils are not cleaned properly that's why insects are found in the food. So it's better not eating food at these hotels for low cost than finding insects in the food.

But many people eat there regularly. I did not mean 'small' literally. As compared to other Big hotels, a common man can afford only these small hotels..
