Impulse Shopping

Impulse shopping is a problem for me sometimes. Going to the grocery store and picking up those brownies that were not on my shopping list, oh no! Getting that article of clothing that is definitely not yet on sale; I did it again! It is even easier to do online. I guess as long as I recognize the problem; I can do something about it. At least I can afford my purchases, but it is even sweeter when you get more for your buck. So, watch yourself at the grocery store and in other shopping environment. If you know you are an impulse shopper, cover yourself. Always choose to save. Shop with coupons, look for sales, and go where the savings are.

Yes I know that retailers love impulse buyers especially when it comes to big ticket items. As the owner of a moving and delivery service I was always pushed to get deliveries out as soon as possible. The reason for this that if you already have the item in your home you are less likely to change your mind about it or send it back.

Great response Berardesco. You get my point. As a mover, you can understand how people can be impulsive about their deliveries. In other words, why wait if you can afford to get it sooner? Convenience with regard to time as well as other things are common splurges.

You really need some budgeting to do there in managing your money. We have this ebook in our library that talks about budgeting your money. If I can get some copy of that, maybe I could share it with you.

Kenshin my friend. Sometimes the issue is not sticking to a budget. It can be an unscheduled splurg. This is something you earn when your finances can allow for it.
