Going by the trends, will it eventually become a requirement that all job applicants have computer programming experience?

I don't think so. Many jobs in which you never have to use computers nor have to know how to program a computer. It's a nice skill to have but it's not need at all.

Hello there! =) i think it does not mean that when you apply for a job, you have got to know how to program. Of course if you are applying as a software developer, you should be able to do just that - program, use scripts and all, it is not likely a requirement when you are applying for a sales job, an accounting job, and so on. Of course nowadays companies uses computers but there is a different department that works to maintain all the programs you use. you only have to know how to use the computer at a minimum.

Those who are planning to work in offices should really have to learn about computers but I don't think programming is a must to learn. I think using the computer will do.
