I think I have to ask my boss for a raise in my salary since I am quite overloaded now with lots of work. There were so many work load that has given to me so I guess its about time. We will open two branches this February and March which means that from 16, I'll be handling 18 branches now. I am handling consignment merchandizes that comes from 10 different suppliers. I been supplying our branches for their weekly replenishment and requisitions of merchandizes that are selling in our stores. I am also doing the monthly sales report for all the sold consignment items of all our branches and report it to all my suppliers for billing andreplenishments. Another supplier will be consigning their items for all our branches which means additional work for me. I am also handling some monthly reports that are needed to submit time to time so it is really tiring and stressful during monthly reports. I even do overtime during Saturdays to finished some works and replenishments that are really needed. I think asking raise in my salary would be okay and reasonable since my work is really overloaded now. Based on my assessment of all my work load now,I think is not just for one person but for two. I do hope that my request will be granted.

agree with you, the more work you received it symbollic that you are an asset to company and not a liability. just ask the boss and i am sure he/she would be happy to raise your salary.

I have told about it to one colleague and she agreed with it. Its about time to ask for an increase since my workload is really overloaded. Dedication and hard work is not worth it if a person is not well compensated. I am still hoping and praying that it will be approved in the coming days.

Yes I've already asked about it to her and looking forward to see it in our next payroll. We will be opening one store this Monday so my job will be really be so stressful and add more things to do in daily basis. So I guess its reasonable enough to asked for raise.

You have a very interesting jon. I like being pressured and sometimes we felt we devoted all our time to our job. I can't imagine myself before working in a very busy hotel that cater guest from all over the world. During peak season we always have negative occupancy, it means we need to prepare all possible things to avoid discrepancy and problems. In a 5 star hotel a small complain, it will become a big history to the management. If you are unlucky, you will get a warning letter after the day if you made mistakes.

I understand your side. In the effort and hardship we give to the company we are working, the management should give all the benefits for you to be happy and contented with your job. All must be compensated with regards to the works you render.

I also like challenges in work wherein sometimes you dont know which one you will do first yet I still manage to do it well and right. Aort of fulfillment after doing all those works. But we really to figure it if what we are doing is worth it and well compesated since we really do our best in our job.

Well, if I would be your boss, you don't have to ask it, I will raise you salary right away. Its your right especially if you think you need a raise, go on and ask for it. We should be compensated accordingly for whatever load that we have. Have a nice day!

Yes, the dedication and hard work of an employee in their company will not be worth it if the are not well compensated. I think the management do see my work load now and the work that will be added to me after two branches will open so raise in my salary that I am asking for is reasonable and justifiable. I am hoping and praying that it will be granted in the coming days.

That is rights if you do not get motivated enough by your salary, you might experience burnout and you won't be ale to do your job very well. If you used to be a great employee before burnout, then it is your bosses biggest loss for not raising your salary. Lol.

Wow that is a lot of work, although you shouldn't have to worry, it is always okay to ask for raises from your boss even if you yourself don't think you deserve it. I know a lot of people, who do so and just try to ask for a raise a lot even though they really haven't anything revolutionary in their jobs, sometimes they get granted, other times they dont but then at least they tried.

Yeah its really lots of work to do now. Good thing that I could manage to do it well so far with the help of proper management and balance on it. I give it a shot to try and hoping for the best that it might be granted in the coming days. My boss to even see and know how my work is overloaded so I guess she is the one who will understand what I am asking for. In case it wouldnt be granted, I think it is right if I give up and give some of my work to others.

That's right, when your boss doesn't give you the right compensation for the work you do, it is like a boss stealing from their employees as they monetize from your work as well. If they dont pay you well for what you do, they can't complain if you refuse doing more than what you a supposed to handle.

As there will be two new branches, you burden is heavier than before. Also it means you have done a good work. To a company, talented people are very important. You need to be treated well to work for the company. So it is the right time for you to ask an increase or an improvement. Good luck to you!

What I am doing now in my work is really not a joke and easy just like the other. It quite tiring and stressful sometimes especially during deadlines and requests if our branches. I also attending into two bosses wherein quite annoying sometimes lol.

Wow! You've got tons of work! I guess asking for a little raise won't hurt. They wouldn't have retained you in that position if you weren't effective, right? Good luck!

Yeah I think it so. I am really do my best in my work and alwasy make sure that I am so effective in everything that I will do in work. I guess asking them for a raise is reasonable since I am doing work that is almost for two people. But dedication and hard work of an employee to its company is not worth it if they are not properly compensated.

That is true! I used to be working online and the salary that I get from the company that I worked on is almost as much as I could earn if I were to continue working in a call center. I loved doing my job and I am always willing to learn new things ti help me improve my skills. However, as time pass by, I realized, they have been giving me a lot to do and it takes me more than the number of hours that was written in the contract. I mean, it is fine to work overtime, but atleast offer an overtime pay, right? But they didn't offer. So, anyway, I just told myself maybe they'd consider giving me a raise. But after several months, there was no hint of giving me any raise, and they were paying me a little late than I have expected. Mind you, they send me my salary only once a month just to save from paying financial charges from the bank. Then I got sick and was hospitalized for 4 days. I asked for a week of rest. Then when I came back online, they were telling that they no longer can pay me coz of this and that. But they would still want me to help them out but for free. O could be of help to them, but of course, I need to pay for my internet connection, too. So, that being said, I quit my job.

Everything can be addressed through professional and good discussion. I think if you will be assertive and polite the management will hear you out. Just be confident, hope for the best and who knows you might get a shot. Even if it's slim, there's still a small chance that it will be granted, rather than have zero chances at all if you will not even try.

Yeah through proper and professional way, thing will be settle right. I even consult it to a colleague and she agreed that its anput time since she also see how overloaded my work is now and in the coming days when two of our branches opened. I think is reasonable to asked increase in my salary this tome around since more work will be given to me. I am praying and hoping that it will granted in the coming days.

I can understand the whole scenario and really appreciate your efforts and responsibilities you are going to take up.And i also support you in asking the raise. But then when you ask fro the raise, be polite and diplomatic. It needs to be polished and sent across. It should sound like without this raise, you will not work or quit.It should be sort of its nice to get that raise since i am working overtime without charging and also would help me cover for the hours i am working additional as there are things that needs to be take care in your personal life as well. You should be knowing your boss and his thinking pattern. So you need to bring it in that fashion and that would really help. Many a time a raise is not given if its not asked properly and politely. And in case, things did not work out the way you needed, you need to re access your situation and think whats needed for your future. Also, double check the company's situation and if there are other issues before approaching you boss.A small study in this area could also help to access many things including your raise. I wish you luck with things. Thanks!

Oh thanks for your support on this. I think its about time that I need a raise thats why I am asking for it now. Is been a long time since my last one and there are lots of work that are already given to me after that. If you assess my workload now, its already job for almost two people. So far I could manage to it well so asking some raise in my salary will be reasonble and just.
