Update on finally got a job

Well today was my first day at work. It's great to be working again. The office that I work in is not big, although the company is larger than I thought. Anyway the people I work with are great and very helpful. What I like best is everyone seems to be easy going and pretty laid back.
We have an office dog imagine that. He actually belongs to my boss and she brings him to work every day. She's not sure what breed he is but she says he's probably a chawawa chitzue mix. (I know I didn't spell that right 
Tomorrow she's bringing in her cat 
.
She bought us all dinner, that was a surprise for me anyway. I'm really going to enjoy working for this company. I'm glad I decided to look in the newspaper.
To everyone that responded on my previous post "finally got a job" thank you all for your congratulations and well wishes and to those of you still looking don't give up your job is out there waiting for you, don't forget to check your local paper, that's where I found mine. And best wishes to you in your hunt.

it seems like you will be settling in just fine. that's good to know, but you never told us what is it you will be doing.

I call people and set appointments for our counselors for pre arrangement services. I know this doesn't sound like an ideal job for most, however it's something all of us are going to have to do some day like it or not. We just try to make it a bit easier.

Congratulations!I'm glad that you are working again.You seems to be well settle already,an getting to know your co-workers.

Congratulations!!It is not often that a good job comes along. While there are vacancies, most of the time, the work is stressing or arduous. Good for you that you were able to find a job where the boss is great. As most often the case, what seems quite important is the working conditions and proper ambiance even if the salary is not as high as expected.

Congratulation you find a job with a good boss, it seems that your job is relax, you are very interesting with your boss's pet, a funny dog and a graceful cat. A good job will let your spare time not boring and give you passion and good welfare.
This year after see you got a job ,I decide to find a job in 2013, I want to be a teacher ,I feel happy to have a new job with enough salory to run for my everyday cost.
Now is the spring festival and after the festival I will go to work like you!

Glad to hear it was a good start for you. Newcomers should feel welcome as this becomes one of the basis of how long they will stay in the company. Other than the compensation work days would be more bearable for me if my coworkers are nice and cool to work with.

I think it is great that you found a job. Love the fact that you have a office dog. It is going to come in really handy as time passes. In my personal opinion, the excitement of the new job wears off except for salary days! 
Anyway, do well and congratulations as there are many who are struggling for employment!

Congratulations violann! Wow, you have a dog for an officemate, that's cool. Most companies don't allow pets inside their offices, I mean at least here in my country. I think that job is really yours because you've been very patient in finding a job. And I think most jobless don't stop looking for job because, who knows, they might find a very good job like you do, right? Congratulations again!
