I have 66 friends here and half of them are active but my referrals are not

half of my friends are referrals but they choose to be mostly inactive, I wonder why?
I think they are getting discouraged by the time it takes to reach payout here. I message them, welcome newcomers, respond to their posts but hardly ever, elicit any response from them.
All these referrals joined me in the last two months but most have not been active at all.

Hi fan ekhann I referred 2 people my brother and a friend but they are inactive now. They liked it but get impatient with the earnings I think they've been inactive for so long that their accounts have been removed or so I think since I don't see them in my friend list. :/

MyLot does not remove accounts when they are inactive. They only remove any earnings after three months that a user does not log in.

I have invited none of my relatives and friends. I wrote a guest post where I posted my ref link, cloaked ofcourse and ever since the referrals have started joining up. May be I shouldguest blog more...

You know what...dollar is going to touch 60, ...lol That may be when they get enthused..
May be you are pushing too hard...I mean...when you tell them...you are going to earn monies...they expect to see monies...u know "show me the money" kind...
But if you told them it is a great site to dump your baggage in...and no chances of anybody writing nasty things on your wall...and despite that...it pays...may be they will investigate and get hooked to friends...
I feel myLot is not about money...it is about learning to live, understand, and be happy.

FK...nobody likes to be used like the lower step of the ladder..so if they know that you are going to make monies out of it..they wont be too interested ...that is human psychology. That is why insurance agents are kept away from home, and that is why there is so much anti spammer stuff. I understand that psychology..that is all. Its your wish...whether you follow this wisdom or not..

Your suggestion is very sound. I will ask the newcomers to treat this site as a place to whine, complain, argue, fight and troll besides engaging in flame wars. maybe that will inspire some of them. As always, Vandy to the rescue. way to go V7!

What did you tell your referrals to try and make them be active here?
Did you tell them that myLot pays 1 cent per post? It doesn't!
Did you tell them that they earn for every response that they receive when they start a discussion? They don't!
Did you tell them that if they follow the instructions given by mylot they can reach the minimum payout every month? They can and many of us do

I only have one referral and she's also inactive now. I guess she's busy in Facebook. I wish to have more referrals but people I know want to spend their time in social networking sites than earning money online. Well, it's their time so I don't have the right to force them to join here if they don't want to. Let's just spend more time here and work for ourselves. I hope your referrals will become active soon. Let's enjoy mylotting!

Hey I have send the referral links to more then 20 plus friend, out of that I think one or two have joined but I never seen them on Mylot. They are inactive as long as they had joined the site. May be they had created their account on Mylot and had not log in to their account afterward

I have close to 3 dozen referrals and about 8 of them got started but are not very active now. I have been interacting with all but only a few have responded to my pm.
Even if 25% of my referrals become active enough to reach payout, it will be worth the effort. I have done whatever I could to bring them in. After that, it is upto them, I guess.

@sriroshan That's sad. I hope they will log in soon and will enjoy myLotting like us. Maybe they haven't seen the benefit they could get here. They miss meeting new friends, gaining knowledge and earning money.
@fannekhan Yes, it's up to them if they will be active here or not. Just wait, who knows, maybe one of these days they will become active here.

You are not alone. I also got more than ten referrals and none in active. So I just have to continue inviting some more friends hoping that someday, I could find someone who will be active on the site.

Maybe I should ignore them like they do. If they don't become active it is for mylot and them to worry, why should I worry?

I am not aware about count of my friends on this site but I consider every one as my friend, including you. I have no referral as such and have no regrets because that saves me from making them interested. But I sincerely wish that yours get motivated to help reach you payout soon, all the best. I think once you reach to the payout, they would be inspired by your achievement. Cheers.

That's what many members have the same experience in regards to their referral who are not active on Mylot. They must have join just for name sake and then may be due to some reason they felt it is not worthy working on Mylot.

I wonder why they find myLot not so attractive? Instead of wasting time on FB they can have a meaningful pastime here at myLot.
