my turn to be surprise

So it was my birthday yesterday and it started great because the day before my birthday, my husband already gave me beautiful flowers, I just didn't know then that it was given free from his gardener friend, then my father inlaw visited me at 6am to give me a bunch of beautiful flowers, then I answered back those who greeted me in fb and spoke with my family. In the afternoon while I was baking, my husband called me to tell me to get ready at night before he comes home because we are having a date together with his bestfriend and I just said ok, I don't have a problem with that. So the night came and we went to the restaurant but it's only me and him, later on his friend came but not the couple that he talked about. We were sitting and one by one, my inlaws and some friends came in and I didn't knew he prepared a surprise party for me until everyone arrived and told me. It was a very lovely night, all were eating, drinking and smoking and everyone's happy. Then time to pay the bill (the funny Part), my husband searched and searched for his wallet but he couldn't find it, we started to get worry and I told my friend I think I will wash the dishes tonight, you will clean the table and they will mope the floor and even if we were worried we are still laughing because of what I said. After 5-10 minutes, finally he found his wallet to our relieved but to his surprise, the bill was 3 times over the budget!!! Good thing he really found his wallet and brought more money, otherwise, I'd be really cleaning and washing in a restaurant on my birthday

yes good for that.. no it is not a funny experience, it will be embarrassing experience of your husband.
. He is indeed very sweet, I'm glad I was not washing plates but it will add a funny experience also if it happened

haha thank God he found it otherwise it's will be a birthday year that you won't ever forget, 3 times over budget? wow! I wish I have someone that will spend a lot to me hehe, he is so cute must be your house full with flower now, may you and him be a part till the end. Happy belated birthday verna!

Happy late birthday to you, so the 13th of February, that's nice :) You get flowers 2 days in a row then ? :)
I wonder how big the bill was, and if the restaurant would have accepted for manual labor as pay for the lack of money - maybe some of the other friends or relatives could have covered the difference :)
So what restaurant was it ? I am curios to see if it's one I ever visited or not :)
It was a pretty good surprise and I am happy you enjoyed your birthday ! Have a healthy and happy year my dear !.

That was one memorable birthday celebration indeed! You are lucky to have a husband like him. Not all husbands could take the time to pull off a party as such.

Happy Belated Birthday many many more! That was so nice of him to have friends and family to surprise you. I'm glad he found the wallet how funny would that have been if he hadn't. What a surprise that would have been for you to be washing the dishes at the restaurant on your birthday.

Belated happy birthday. It was a very sweet gesture of your husband to gather the people close to you to be with you on your birthday. However, I could almost imagine how you were feeling when he was searching for his wallet and the great relief after it was found. This is one memorable birthday that you've had.

Thank you and happy valentine's day! Yes, I am really lucky and very thankful to my husband and his family and even his friends. The feeling is overwhelming to recieve so much love from them, makes me think back of the past what have I done to have this now..but I am very thankful to God.

Belated happy birthday! You are lucky that you have such a nice husband. He arranged a nice surprised party for you. Such surprises give us happiness and theses are our memorable incidents in our life. the funny part of the incident would be a big surprise for you. Because if your husband would not been paid the bill you would have to wash the dishes on your birthday.

That was a very unique way to celebrate your birthday, I mean you really are surprised yet it all started slow and small. That is so touching your husband really loves you to go through all the trouble of arranging it. I find the wallet incident pretty funny, but I would be nervous too if I were in your position. Good thing though that you don't have to wash the dishes on your special day.

You have a nice husband, and it's the luckiest thing in life. My husband has never been a romantic man, but he is a realistic people. He does things for me when I ask him to before and now I even don't have to do that. Such a happy birthday is the dream of many women. If my man can do that for me, I'd rather wash the dishes if necessary.
