Superbowl on a Saturday?

There has been talk of possibly having next year's (2014) Superbowl on a Saturday. It will be played in Met Life stadium in New Jersey. It is very rare to play a Superbowl in a cold weather stadium that is not domed. Because of the concerns about the weather, there has been consideration about moving it to Saturday. Do you think they will do it? Would you prefer the Superbowl to be played on a Saturday so that you can party more without having to worry about going to work the/school the next day?

They can try to do it but the numbers , you know the ratings, will suffer. see there are many a couple that go out on Saturday nights. New York comes alive on Saturday. Having it on Sunday night is best.

The league doesn't have to change everything around to appease people who like to drink too much. Sunday is when pro football is played. Monday night games are a tradition, but they're only good for regular season. Thursday nights are just to try to get the NFL Network off the ground. The Super Bowl should stay on a Sunday. Start it earlier. Start it at 4 instead of 6:30. And don't have the thing in New York. New York is already too self-important. The last thing they need is a Super Bowl (which would be in Jersey, but still it's a "New York" game since it's home to NY teams). They could move it up a week, too. Ditch a preseason game or start a week earlier in the summer.

I would prefer it to be on a Saturday. I like to have people over to watch the game. Everyone always leaves early because they have to go to school or work the next day. It would be nice to have social time with friends without having to worry about have to work the next day.
