Family loss

Today my 24 year old nephew died. He fought long and hard against cancer, but he could no longer fight. He was way too young, only 24. Yesterday a little girl in my town died from cancer, she was 6 years old. Cancer doesn't discriminate, it takes young, old, any age, gender, and nationality. It's a cruel disease, a terrible thing to watch. The last couple days have been sad and stressful for so many. No parent should suffer the loss of a child. My heart is breaking for mothers without their children.

I know what this is. I lost one of my grandchildren to cancer 10 years ago. He didn`t get to be 8 years old. I have cancer now, in remission, but I am not worried as I have lived a long full life. Yet I think that it is terrible that young people die

My condolences on your family loss. No parent should suffer the loss of a child. My niece lost her son back in Aug, due to a drowning. :( We're still recovering from that. I recently found out that one of my uncles have been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, so I will be loosing another family member before this year is over. :( You're right, cancer does not discriminate. I will pray for peace for your family through this terrible time.

Sorry about your loss. He is way too young to be taken away. At least he wouldn't have to be in pain much longer. I can't imagine the pain that mothers have to endure when they burry their kids. May God heal the hearts of his family amidst the grief.

my deepest condolences to you and your family. it really is difficult to lose a family member. your nephew fought long and hard against cancer so you have nothing to be shamed of. just think that he's now with god and he no longer feels pain.
