For the past few days, some people keep on adding me to their group chat and it really annoys me considering they do that for the sole purpose of having audience, however their approach is like trespassing my facebook.

yup! Dozens of time! They are online sellers who either wants their page to be liked or just want to promote a certain product.
I just ignore these messages.

I keep on ignoring them but as I said, it really annoys me . Is there any setting on facebook that can shut or block it from happening?

I a not sure if there was anything we can do but just leave the conversation. Sorry! I guess you just have to do it manually every time.

So far no one has really kept on inviting me to facebook groups. i had invites from groups before but those were from friends and officemates =) I think you should set your account to private so that not many people (especially not your friends) will be able to see your account.

I have been apart of facebook group chat but by people I know in person . I enjoy chatting up to my old schools friends , its really fun knowing whats going on and just joking with each other as usual .

seriously I don't like to joined group chat! very annoying to me! when I got this invitation I will immediately leave that conversation and contact who added me and warned them about this and if he / she can't accept I simply remove them from friends 
as it's my privacy if they can't accept it so that's the last thing I can do
