salad everyday!!!

I love salad it completes my meals... I eat salad during lunch and dinner!! I live in a boarding house and we didn't have refrigerator ( I cannot store food for a week and cannot have lettuce since it dries up shortly) as we are not allowed to... so I only use carrots and cucumber , then I just put a little bit of salt, sugar, black pepper, vinegar and olive oil.. but my officemates love it , too!!!!!!!

Hi! Salad is the best bet before meals. It helps us in digestion and it is full of fibers. Carrots and cucumber like raw vegetables added with salt and olive etc. work wonders and satiate our hunger pangs. We also take salad regularly consisting of sliced carrots, radish, tomatoes and onions and we love it.

wow! that's great!! i think I can't live without salad on my meals ha ha!! Oh!you mentioned radish! I also missed radish it's been a long time I haven't eaten a radish salad I already forgot how to make it!

It is good to hear that you can not skip you salad before meals. Radish here in New Delhi are available in winter season only, else we make do with cucumber, onion and tomatoes. You could try to buy it in your nearby market, if available.

That's a salad still. And I bet that's delicious and of course nutritious. Come to think of it, I always used to have cucumber salad with salt and olive oil and that's it. Now I don't know why I don't prepare that anymore. Maybe now is a good time as any to get back to having my cucumber salad.

Interesting combination, and I am sure it would be good together. I would consider trying it even if I could eat carrots easier. Sounds like a great combination.

Salads are best before meals as they full your stomach and also do not add up that extra calories. I love it too, but i don't know i cant have it. I always end up making tasteless salads.

He he , Oh well, it's so easy Archie just mix it with salt, a bit of sugar, black pepper vinegar and olive oil,,, I love it much or you can also make cucumber salad with corn,,, it's almost the same but this time you use the american mayonaise (salty mayo) then just add salt and a bit of sugar then chill it....Oh i really love it, too!!! so good luck!! you can do it!!

I love salad too and I have found out that there are many veggies that you can use to change flavour. Have you tried tomatoes? There are the regular tomatos: and you can use one each time in your salad bowl. I keep mine out of the fridge with the fruits. You can also buy cauliflower flowerets and marinate them. I eat them raw with a mayo with a bit of crushed garlic. I also eat raw zuchinni cut up very thin. You can use the same dressing you make for it. Yummy!

Why don;t you have a fridge? You could get a bucket and fill it with ice, to chill it on. I love salad as well, I was thinking of making one tonight.
