There are a couple of things that I regret for not ever making it happen. One is not being able to become a physician. My mom didn't want me to take up Medicine in College coz she would rather let me take Accounting instead. Maybe the reason is that the course will take about 8 years of school and a couple of years for internship and review which would cost a lot of money.....I opted to take up Dentistry instead, coz I still wanted to be in the line of Medicine. I did graduate with the degree of Dental Medicine, however, I was not able to pursue further studies in Japan and wasn't even able to purse a career in that profession because I got married shortly before graduation. My priority became my husband and child. Should I made a little sacrifice, I would have given a better life for my kids.

don't give up, you still have a chance, just do your best where you think you can make more money. Your husband can understand you. Move on to make all things happen.

I don't really have any regrets when I really think about it. I try to learn from the mistakes I've made and move on.

I told a lot of mylotters about it, that I was pregnant and gave my baby up for adoption. It was way back when you could not afford to keep a baby. It was that I did not have money. And we were told to confess it to our future husbands and if you did, most of the time the boy left. When my husband proposed, and we got married, I could not have children, so we adopted. You have to be careful about asking about regrets in our lives. In some cases, unless others know about it, we like to keep it a secret because it hurts too much and people will think bad of us.

It really is shameful that people will think bad of others because of something that happened in the past. It ought not be that way, for others do not know what is going on or went on in someone else's life. I don't think it shameful or regrettable that any one gives up a child for adoption especially if you know you are not able to care for the child properly. I think that is a very brave act.

Yes I do. First, the regret to save a lot. I was not able to anticipate our expenses all these years. I should have started to save more 10 years ago. Second, I should have married at the age of 24 instead of 28 so I would have much time for the baby. My time is running out and my ovaries are getting closer to "expiration" hahaha

Hmm, let's see. I regret that I wasn't that good of an older sister to my siblings. Now I live thousands of miles away from them. I know it's not too late but still... I also regret that I didn't do the career moves that I did now earlier when I was choosing what path to take. I would have started loving what I do now way back then. But then again, I have yet to learn this.
