it's been months already since i opened what i feel here in mylot. and yeah, i miss this...this is the only place i can air out my feelings to people i don't know and never judged me... i'm feeling cold feet right now...after i failed on pursuing my nursing career last 2 years, now, i'm afraid to fail again in my big shift of career..i'm pursuing IT now..i'm on my 3rd year in IT..my grades are way better than in nursing...i just love the programming.. but like any other, i also have weaknesses...and now that i'll be applying for an on-the job training as a prerequisite of the degree, i'm getting cold feet in applying again to different companies..i'm not good in interviews..i lost words..and because of nervousness, i can't organize well my thoughts in interview..and i'm afraid that i won't get hired by any company that is related in IT, and just doing paper works.. but what can i do?i made my choice in pursuing IT..this is my make or break for my future..i just hope i'll have enough courage and strength on this.. good to me..i'll start applying to companies next month, since my papers will be available on the first week of march..hope i'll be accepted anytime soon..

Do not let the mistakes and failures of the past dictate how you will perform today. It's all in the past, move on and learn from it. Nothing you can do now will ever change the past, but everything you do now will shape your future. Practice makes perfect. If you are not really good with interviews, practice in front of the mirror. Then in front of friends who can give you pointers as to how you come off, either too strong, too weak, too confident or too meek. It will not happen overnight, just concentrate on your studies and when it comes to interviews, you can prepare by researching the history of the company, its mission and vision, the works.

I make mistakes and give wrong answers too in job interviews but I make them my lesson. So for you, you are still young, more opportunities to come, try to learn from your mistakes from everywhere. Search on how to calm down during interviews and how to be prepared then apply and develope them yourself. Once you've experienced different interviews, the next ones will be simple for you.
