Pet Peeves

From the title itself, what are your pet peeves. A friend of mine's pet peeve is when someone is bad at the English grammar - I personally don't have any problem for bad English grammar because I have one too, as long as I understand it. What I really don't like is hearing someone having a really bad grammar of my native tongue especially when I know that that person is not or did not grew up from another country. I guess that is one of my pet peeves. Another pet peeve that I have is when someone rearrange my things. Even when it needs to be arrange I like it to do it myself and don't like anyone else touch my things. And lastly what I really really hate is when I'm talking to a person and that person tries to cut me off because she/he got an opinion about what I'm saying without me even finishing my sentence. How about you guys, what are your pet peeves and how did you deal with it given when you are put in a situation?

Ok, I'm about to come off as a really grumpy and miserable person but I have a few pet peeves. 1. People that park in car parks and take up more than one space (I don't actually drive but I find this really inconsiderate). Other driving pet peeves are when people park in disabled spaces and they aren't disabled, when they run red lights (have had several near misses myself)and when they park right up on the path because they know they shouldn't be parking there but they leave no room for pedestrians. 2. People that are late. Not only in my home life but in my work life. I have come across people that when you mention they are late they just say "yeah, I know." There is no apology, no explanation...nothing. It's just rude and manners cost nothing. 3. People who are over-friendly with their touching. Don't get me wrong, I can have friends hug me and I love a snuggle on the sofa with the hubby, but when strangers feel their needs to put their hands on you without any prior invitation. 4. People with no manners. They don't cost anything. Sometimes I see kids just being kids but the parents (usually barely adults themselves) are just over-reacting to the slightest misbehavior. I think these kids are the future of our country and yet their behaviour is crazy and the parents are just as bad. I'm not tarring everyone with the same brush because there are some truely amazing parents out there, but sometimes I think some people should not be allowed to reproduce without passing a test. O.K so I might be having a bit of a whine and a moan but I thought I would throw my two cents in.

Hmmm...I guess my biggest pet peeve is when someone tries to be someone they're not just because they think it would make them look better than all of us put together. Like for example, there's this one "friend" of ours who keep on bragging to us about her stuff, like how much it is, where she got it, where they will go next for some pleasure trip, what posh restaurant they have been recently at, and more. We know that she is just weaving some outrageous lies because whenever we ask for some picture, she always have lots of reasons why she doesn't have any. Then she will always tell us that she also have what we have, but we never see her with it.

I have a similar friend but the difference is that she brag and flaunt her new phones, jewelries, travels and anything expensive that she have but she keeps on complaining that her son don't have supplies for school and that her money is not enough for his son's tuition fee. It just bugs me that she's able to buy all these expensive things which are not really important. Whenever I would advice her on money she will just ignore me.

hmmmm...for a lot of people on mylot English is not their first language and I can see them making mistakes. I hate when I'm talking to someone who English is their first language and they have really bad grammar. To me there's no excuse for it! Other pet peeves....rude, ignorant and just plain people who need to grow up!

I second that. Rude people are just annoying, especially when they belittle blue-collar workers. I have seen many who do that
