I thought that Velour (or velours) is made from cotton or synthetic materials, but in forum on my language some girls wrote that velour shoes actually are made from leather?! Is velour animal friendly? Can you tell me some site where is explain more detailed how is made and what are different between their kinds.

OK, BUT In Wikipedia and some sites for eco-life are sure that velur are made from cotton?! It's so cruel to kill animals, I even don't eat it! I hope I'm not victim of one big lies of the shoes industry! When on ticket write "other materials" is it legal to be leather?! NOOO, I feel so stupid!

Hi ! Been searching the raw materials of velour but can't find it here , I don't know if it comes from an animal or from a tree or plant but am sure it is used for danced clothes , curtains and bed sheets also. It is soft clothes. Got have an additional information now that some shoes are made of Velour also ..Wow this could be so classy.
