There are several activities online for which one gets paid including chats and talks with online friends. How about getting paid offline too
That way may be people will get in touch with each other. These days you will only see people interacting in the real world only when they need something. Your views please!

Which site pays for chatting with on line friends. Have you discovered some new site? Please let us know.
I love interacting with on line friends and if am going to be paid for that I would ask all my on line friends to join the site ......lol!
Yes, now a days in real life people are too busy to talk. They converse when only the need arises or they have some rant to share.
I think if in real life one is asked that he will be paid for his conversation, he may accept the idea for the sake of money but will his conversation be genuine with true emotions? I do not think so.

I can understand your point and almost same happen in our extended family. Even though many members live here in New Delhi.
How about this -
(a) You could talk to me (through phone) and you will be paid @per minute?
or its vice versa?
(b) We could start a counselling centre - where people are free to talk on any issue but on payment basis.

Thank you for that offer dpk but my peeve is with my extended family for the moment. I notice they will only want to speak if they can benefit from the conversation. No more 'talking shop'. They do that only with their friends. 
Wanting to start a counselling centre is as good as agreeing with me that people nowadays only talk if there is benefit in it

What are you doing here dpk. Are you not paid for chatting!
I have a huge extended family and when I compare it with what it was and what it is now, I notice they will only interact when they want something or there is a function for which they need a crowd and so they invite. This is a fact. If there is the prospect of earnings like here 
may be they might spend time talking to each other!!

I would have to pass on that. I wouldn't want to "emphasize" on being neglected by people by having to pay them so that they would talk to me. I think I would really be hurt. But I am sure that all the singles would be happy having this kind of set-up so that they could somehow talk to their crush!

People have become so money minded that even to talk they will charge you! Many of my family is settled abroad and when they come on a holiday they will chart out a programme to meet relatives - not a second more!

Interesting. I am happy they don't charge for online talks, you are saying we can get paid for it? You should tell us where this can be done. I am sure Lotters have a lot to chat about. We can chat while we type in myLot and earn concurrently?
This is new and so foreign to me.

Are you seriouse of that? get paid by chat and talks? I have not hear about that before, but as time is limited it is too good to earn something while we spend time for things.

As you know people these days will only spend time talking if it can enhance their earning prospects or if there is some kind of image enhancement. But with family it will only be casual conversation which for me is priceless.
