Mr. Darcy

Do you think that men like mr.Darcy exist today? I am inlove with his charachter. He is my defenition for a true man.What do you think? Is he cold and distant or he is passionate?

I think they still exist, although you cannot see the tall hats and they don't come riding in their hunting stallions anymore. I would like to think that I managed to snag one of them in the form of my husband. He hates crowds, dancing, isn't partial to women wanting his attentions, and he's got the weirdest, almost the same way of declaring his love for me. Of course he's got his not-so-good Mr. Darcy tempers but I married him anyway.

Yes, I would like to think so too. But I don't think I live in the Jane Austen novel, how I wish though. Sometimes I think we all experience moments that we can selectively assimilate as Jane Austen's romantic chapters.

I have had those moments but it was long ago and It is even hard to remember that's why sometmes i take the book and read it again

Well, I've never met any men like that (or remotely similar ), but that doesn't mean they don't exist. There are seven billion people in the world, so who knows? As for being cold and distant or passionate, I think he's a bit of both, and that's one of the things that make the character exciting.
