I run a non-profit organization and our mission is to provide comprehensive training and medical care as well as rehabilitative therapy to high school student athletes that are injured while playing sports. We provide free physicals as a way of promoting early detection and prevention of serious health disorders that may potentially cause sudden death. My question is: Where can I find statistics that support the need of a program like ours? For example, the number of deaths last year due to the lack of early detection and injury prevention in high schools for their athletes. Lack of proper medical care and attention of an injury...etc.
