to cure cough, you may have to eat ginger, peanuts, and also the food tasted spicy in the mouth.

I think so, it can make blood flow smoothly and all the bacteria could no longer bear to make you cough.

Hi ifa Noodles have nothing related to dry throats. It is the other add ons that you might be putting on in the noodles which leave your throat dry. Try having some ginger based lozenges and they would help if you keep sucking on them. You can also try out a small slice of ginger if you are unable to find those lozenges nearby.

Instant Noodles are salty and with lots of additives that can even irritate your throat. With or without cough, you are not supposed to eat noodles. It is a very unhealthy stuff. At the first sign of cough, you only have one effective first aid and that is drinking lukewarm water only till the irritation in your throat is gone. No cold water is allowed.

Hello Ifa sure, I know what are you talking about. My father tought me about this when I had babies 15 years ago. If you eat carbohidrates when you have cought it will become worst. Try to avoid all carbohidrates on your diet. Like pasta, noodles, potatos, cereals, bread, bananas. Try to eat as much fruit with vit C as you can. Take care, good luck, blessings Ifa... dainy

oh yes,the seasoning of instant noodles may irritate throats, it also may trigger asthma, so be careful.. choose other soft foods rather than instant noodles..

Everyone is different in what helps them when they cough. I like tea with honey in it. Someone else suggested a shot of whiskey to me last week. Nothing beats a good cough drop or even a lemon drop to suck on to sooth the throat. I've never heard of eating anything when you cough. I would think it would make you choke.

I haven't heard of this as well. Maybe the noodles that you had is too spicy or salty? That will definitely irritate your throat and agitate the discomfort.
