Your take on Textbroker?

I stumbled into Textbroker.com yesterday, but they do not take Indian writers. They only take US writers because of the "tax laws" (whatever that means). I contacted customer care and that's the answer I got.
I am a bit hesitant to sign up for such sites after what happened at Helium. Helium suddenly stopped accepting Indian writers. No reason given. Any Indian writer here having a great time at performance payment or upfront payment sites? I am looking for fresh opportunities.

I am on Textbroker, I am not Indian. Textbroker is only for the US, and I have heard for the UK perhaps, soon. I believe there is a site called iWriter which will accept writers from India. I have not written for them, but others on here have.
