My mother knows nothing about me

When I ask my mother about things from my childhood she doesn't remember a thing. Important things too that she should know. For example I had surgery on my leg and have a huge scar but she can't really tell me anything about it. We were never close and I moved at at 13 so maybe she doesn't know anything because she never paid attention to me as a child. It can't be her memory. She was only 40 when I started asking her questions about things. Do your parents remember things about your childhood and tell you stories about it

Yes, my mother still does even if she's already 64,, but I guess she doesn't know much about me now that I'm a grown up.. ;-)

My Mother used to sit and tell me all kinds of stories about when I was growing up plus I have a lot of my own memories. I'm sorry your Mom doesn't remember but it could be because you moved out at such an early age making impossible to make any new memories.
