my sister wants to go out too early to buy some items or medicines. but i told since she is going out by 11 am , she should not go out like this 5 am . so anyway, she agreed to just go out later and buy all things later. i told her that it is just a waste of time to go out too often and spend too much money on transportation. i know she gets bored but if she gets out of the house too often that she would not be of help at home and that i would not be able to do my responsibilities at home.

You are correct. Doing that later could indeed save in the fare. Besides, she can help you more at home. Well, maybe she is just trying to escape household chores.

Good thing she listened to you. And yes, it is not practical to go out and buy stuff one at a time, what a waste of time, energy and effort. Maybe you should help her list down everything that she needs to buy, remind her of something that she missed out - intentionally or not. Besides, I think 5am is way too early for her to buy stuff, unless of course she is just buying some farmer's market items.

Well, it is true that you can save more money if you go out only when you need everything instead of each time you need to do something. Yes, you might get bored but maybe this is time to find some other things around the house, etc. that need to get done and do them. Often times this leaves you feeling better about yourself and your life as well.
