insults at workplace..how u will feel?

some managers are so strict and they dont how to handle employee who is working under them. sometimes they may compare you with others and insult your ability of doing work to the core. have you ever felt that worst situation?how you will react to it?

Being strict and being insulting are two different things. I don't mind a strict manager as long as it is not being abused. But an insulting one, especially if it's uncalled for, is something that I cannot just let go. I will not match his insults, that's for sure, because that will make me no different than him. I will tell him that I appreciate his strong drive to correct or make me perform better, but he doesn't have to be insulting. If he will take it against me, I will walk to the HR and file a formal complaint.
