hi there, today i was thinking about world's greatest problem,to be or not to be popular. i am trying to figure this out since i was 12 years old,and now i reached 17 and i haven't decided if my main purpose should be my appearance or not. most girls in my classroom are very beautiful and everybody knows them. i can't say that i'm not popular, because my boyfrind made me so,but i always wanted to be remarked on my own ,not because of my (boy)friends. so it's not that kinf of popularity i always wanted. so now,for the people who really are popular in their (high)school, what do you think ? is this the most important thing to you, to keen your appearance?or you would prefer being just like an usual person, lost in the crowd ? i ask this because most of my classmates told me they wish they were annonimous ,so that no one would have his eyes set on their mistakes :)

I think it's normal for people in their teens to either fit in or stand out among the crowd. Popularity after all can sometimes be healthy - lots of friends and stuff - just as long as it doesn't go to one's head.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i can understand what u r trying to say from your discussion and i think there is a slight urge within all of us to be known among the people n be popular n recognized. but this recognition could be either in the form of appearance or could be by our actions that makes us different from others. What say?
