best place to buy for retails

hi guys..i'm planning to open an online shop..want to buy and sell stuffs, like clothes shoes, etc., from other countries.. i've heard hongkong is a shopping capital..but i also heard from friends that there are also pirated/fake/imitation stuffs sold there.. can anyone suggest where to buy stuffs that aren't imitations but has lesser price? i want to tell my cousin to look for stuff their.. thanks guys!

Id do a search online, as it all depends on where you live at. Here in Mexico I get most my items shipped from the usa.
