"If you work for a man, in heaven's name speak well of him, stand by the institution of what he represents, and remember that an ounce of loyalty is worth a pound of cleverness." This really worked well for me I guess this past week, as against the odds, i was able to get through the things that I'm having problems with, thanks to my online manager. Through thick and thin, he favored for my request as opposed to his colleagues rejection to it, and now I realized the sincerity of friendship by being loyal to him.

Well yes u are absolutely right, being loyal to someone is the best thing we can do to that person. no doubt with loyalty comes cleverness to handle things and i am glad that it has worked in your favor. We should be loyal to others and there is no issue if we nod to someone's plan if it is for a good cause.

I agree, definitely. It really pays to be loyal and dedicated to someone you worked for whose ideals and goals are for the best and good intentions. It's really worth one's time and effort to dedicate to someone who understands and exudes empathy and kindness.
