Overnight jobs

I am working as a night auditor in a Marriott hotel and I've been doing this for about seven months now. It's weird because some nights, its not a problem at all and some nights it seems like the minutes are hours. I DO hate getting up for work but I felt that way getting up in the mornings too anyways. I wonder if anyone else works overnights and does it seem to get easier? I like this job because I'm the only one in the hotel, I'm good at what I do and I get paid slightly more. My other question is, if you work overnights, what is your pay differential because mine is pretty low. I only get .50 more than if I worked days and most people seem to get paid much more than that for working nights. I'm keeping my fingers crossed because I will qualify for a raise at a year and I'm praying it is a decent increase or I may have to look elsewhere.

Hi, overnight job is not an easy task. You should be paid more than what you get. I wish you will get much more increment as the reward for your work this year.
