Greeting Friends! I was diagnosed with pernicious anemia a few years ago. I had to have a monthly B12 shot for the first year, but after that the Dr. changed by over to the 1500 MCG vitamin. I was checking out an online health store earlier today and noticed that there is B12 patches available and B12 melt in your mouth strips available. Has anyone tried either? The pills work good, but I always have such a hard time swallowing them (However, they are WAY better than a shot!!). Thanks much and have a fantastic day!!

i was also diagnosed with this form of anemia a few years ago but i was never given the option for the shot. I remember when i first started feeling sick i lost a lot of weight and my symptoms mimicked mono. now i have to take my B12 vitamins and iron pills daily otherwise i feel pretty sick. You're the first i person i have heard with this type of anemia discuss it! i've never met anyone else who has it as well

Oh i feel so bad about your illness and i hope u r doing fine right now. seriously i have no idea about these medicines or shots but all i know is that there r some shots which r difficult to swallow in comparison to the pills. pills do get melt once they get into our mouth as they r designed to work that way.
