Motion Sickness

After riding a ride from a Disney Park, I started to get really motion sickened. It took a long 1 to 2 hour wait for myself to get better. Now, later in life I would find out that even riding in the passenger seat in the car would give me motion sickness too. It never happened to me until I rode that ride. Any suggestions of how to relieve motion sickness without the use of medicine?

Oh, I kind of suffer from the same thing, too. I sometimes get nauseous in cars, and sometimes on public transport as well, if the room is airless. But I've never had any problems on rollercoasters... weird. I'd love to know what I could do to copre with travelling in a car more easily, too.

I used to have the same problem with amusement park rides and cars. I think I just overcome my motion sicknes with rides, I don't know how but I just avoided closing my eyes and tried to look into one direction only, and not looking everywhere while the ride is on going. I am not sure if that is the cure but hey it worked for me. As for car rides, I just make sure that I am near the window. Looking at the scenery helps me adjust and get my bearings straight. It also helps if the car is not laden with artificial fresheners.

I get that way on almost any fast moving ride. Even the ferris wheel makes me ill. So I stay off those things.
