Getting Older

There I go again. Writing like I have a fever. I cannot believe I forgot this, did that or just totally lost my mind. I know that getting older during times like these is better. But, getting older is still getting older. The years pass by like time on fire, and yesterdays add up quickly. Getting Older is not the worst part. It is what the future holds. Will I continue to be independent? What will become of me? I hope I can keep hanging in.

Growing older is an inevitable part of our lives. But that should not scare anyone no matter how it really is. Getting older only means that we have lived a life that is full. Not everyone gets lucky reaching old age and they have missed a lot. No one can foretell what the future holds but it is in our hands to make the future more worth of living. Hang on, my friend. You are not alone.

I appreciate your reassuring thoughts. Getting the most out of our lives given by grace is a worthy attempt to cherish the miracle it is.

I think getting older is somewhat a gift rather than a curse that should be hidden and be ashamed of. Becoming older allows you to be more mature and acquire wisdom as you experience more and more life changing lessons in life.

You are right about that kenshin2143. People, like myself, can appreciate getting older. But, we don't always know what to expect.
