Lol, yep that was the excuse someone gave to a police officer when he had wrecked in what looks like 4 or 5 cars in a parking lot. That was a first for me, out of any excuse I've heard someone give when they got into an accident. I don't think the officer's believed him until after they gave him a sobriety test and which he passed. Then they were like okay we believe him. He was slurping on a slurpy he bought at a gas station. Ha Ha, I think I'll use that if I ever get into an accident.

Yes you can get a brain freeze from slurping a slurpy. It is that cold. I got one from sipping on a smoothie and if you do it fast enough, your brain does freeze. So if you use that excuse, the officer had better find a smoothie or a Slurpy in your possession, like in the holder, else you might get ticketed for careless driving.

You are right that it is possible to get a brain freeze with those slurpies. Although I have never experienced a brain freeze. But hopefully if anyone ever tries to use that excuse, well hopefully, they will have the evidence right there with them otherwise the officer is most likely not going to believe you.

Well, I would wonder if I was an Officer if the passenger might be Diabetic or something and drinking something like that to get his Sugar back up? But in reality I often wonder how many people would try this and still get charged with something and have to go to court just because the officer refuses to believe you.
