I sold my house and bought a second hand house. I am happy that I finally succeeded in selling my house. I found it was not as easy as it would be to find a place to live in. With the money we got from selling the house we were not able to buy the one we want. We could have got a new house but it would be too small. Although the house we finally got is not as big as we used to have, I and the children are satisfied. I am sure our new home will be good for me and my family.

So why dis yo sell your house on the first place, yan? Nowadays, it's so difficult to sell a house in the price that we would like it to be sold. Much more, buying a house that will suit our preference with the money we have.

1. My wife does not fit in to the surrounding. 2. The land is not in the profitable position. 3. The mosque opposite the house is often too noisy when the calling for prayer is made. 4. Other reasons I cannot mention here. I feel happier with our current home. Hope it is going to give us more luck. Thank.

You did not have to give your reasons for selling but I see that you are an open and honest man. I wish you every happiness in your new home and your wife some nicve friends so that she will like the neighbourhood. It must be annoying to live close to a noisy mosque, church bells too close can be equally disturbing. As you feel happier in spite of the smaller home I am sure that this move was a good one to make, a loving gesture for your wife and whatever those other reasons were I hope you are able to leave all your problems behind and make a very happy new start together.

Why did you sell the house to buy a second hand smaller one? Is it in a better neighborhood? What is better in the new one with respect of the one you sold? I`m glad the children like it though. It is very important.

The old one is in fact in need of a lot of repair and the surrounding neighbours--it aeems to me--love keeping up with the joneses. By sellingbthe house I got a cheaper one, so I got more money left. There are other reasons I cannot tell here.

Yes, at the beginning it was but later I found that I felt relieved and lucky. At the moment I am still having a few things fixed at our new house.

I hope it all works out as best as posible for you and your family. It is difficult to leave an old house, but there is also the thought of a new begining.

Yanza, happy to hear that you finally able to sold your home. Hope you are able to sold it at your preferred price. Nowadays, it is hard to sold house at our preferred price, since everyone was looking for a much cheaper house. I had to sold my former home at a much cheaper price since the buyer demand of it. But, at least i don't have to travel a lot, just to take care of my former home. Hope all of you are happy staying in that new home. Is it near to town or village area?

It is not far from my former house. Yes, it is still in the city. I think my children love the house. They just need some time to make adjustments.

congratulations to your new house. although it's not big but it comfortable. In my country , house prices is very high. To me, a college student, If my salary is 3000 a month, I must work 15 years without eating and drinking. so it's hard to life in my country.

I am glad that you have sold your house. It is hard to sell a house and make money by selling it. I am glad that you were able to buy a new house and that everyone is happy. I wish we could get out of the place we are renting because there is so much crime here. Last week our recycle bins were stolen and then yesterday our trash can was stolen. I hope you get a lot of help with the packing and moving.

If it is not safe you have got to move out and find another home that is safe for your family.

Oh. Its good for you. At least you have good home to live unlike us, no one wants to buy our house when we had this financial crisis and because no one wants to buy our house, my dad decided not to sell our house anymore. Selling a house is really difficult.

I am in the process of moving house, hopefully we will be living in the new house in the summer. I can understand what it feels like to try to see how to use the money you earned from the house you sold so as to buy the new house + furnishings and other requirements. The most important thing is not the size of the house, or its beauty, but that you feel happy with it and that the family makes it a home - comfortable and welcoming.

I agree with you. I think the kids love the house, especially the bath rooms are more comfortable than the ones I used to have. Thank for your comment. Happy mylotting.

I am happy to hear that you had succeeded in selling your house. I am happy to her that you like your new house even though it isn't what you really want. It is hard selling a house much more making a good deal out of it.
