What's happening in Australian cricket Shocking! Shane Watson has left India. Mitchell Johnson and Usman Khawaja haven't been made available to selected. In fact, they won't be considered. And James Pattinson too has been asked to sit out. Wade has hurt his ankel and maybe Haddin may fly to India. How tumultuous! Do you think Australia can win after all this?

But if they somehow eke a victory in Mohali, than we will be talking of India batting woes. Chances are remote but Aussies can do it. Taking them lightly can be very dangerous.

That's right. We cannot underestimate them. In fact, we should not underestimate nay opponent. We never know when they come back. The same with Aussies. We have to be careful with them.

That's right. Even India has gone through such times before. But this thing to happen to one of the world's superpowers in cricket is what amazes me.

Hi, It needs to be seen whether this big and surprising(or should I say shocking?) move to drop four Australian players for their failure to submit assessment reports, will demoralize the team, or make them put in extra efforts on the field. My guess is that it will not be as good for the team. And with players not in good form, one cannot expect them to suddenly make centuries and double centuries. Still, it would be foolish for Dhoni and team to take it easy. They still have Michale Clarke who can make big runs, and others too. Let us keep our fingers crossed and see how the next test match goes.

I agree with what you say. There is still Michael Clarke, David Warner and Ed Cowan. All are great batsmen. The only thorn in the flesh, for them is that they aren't scoring runs (apart from their captain). What if they find form in this match, then we will be doomed. I mean, it will be India under threat. Australia has nothing to lose. Even if they lose this match, people would say it would on the expected lines. But it will be tough for India. So, India has to watch out really.

Cricket isa game when fortunes can turn anyways. If Indians are complacent and if Aussies are fired up, then the game could e Aussies.Mind you, Mohali is a pitch which can assist fast bowlers. So , we can never predict who will win for sure before the match.Yes, Indians have a lot of advantages before going into match.Speaking about Aussie cricket,i guess its hard times for them. They have not felt pressure of losing series in this fashion. But then if you look at the team after retirement of Ricky and Hussey, its almost not backfilled with new players who have good abilities.Plus Aussies have always found India tough and given that they do not have experienced players, its natural to be in tough conditions. They need to take inspiration from the era of Waugh and Border and try to inspire the team to perform. And coach and captian has a big role in that.As far as Shane watson is concerned, we cannot say anything without hearing the hundred percent of the information. But what has happened is not helping Aussie cricket or Watson for sure.As the team is undergoing transition, seniors have a big role in grooming the future players.Hope Aussie can make through the transition. Thanks!
