Making chicken sandwich for my husband...

My husband is going to the head office today and he want to bring snack than buying food outside which is not healthy and expensive too. So i am making chicken sandwich for his snack, this sandwich is delicious, healthy and cheap. I am going to put fresh lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, grilled chicken breast with mayonnaise lite and wheat bread. Then the left over vegetables will be my lunch, I am planning to make a vegetable salad with grilled salmon or tuna. I always feel good when i eat healthy foods and save money at the same time.

Same here. I go for fresh and healthy choice so I always take time to pack lunch and snacks for my son and hubby so I can be sure that what they are eating are not loaded with preservatives and additives. Just like you I am very conscious about the health of the family so I don't mind taking extra effort if only to give time the healthiest food ever.
I never serve them with processed meats such hotdogs, ham and the likes. Processed meats are so unhealthy because they contain sodium nitrate, a food coloring substance that has been discovered to cause cancer. So whenever I see children eating hotdogs, I feel so sad for them.

I agree with you my dear, we need to eat fresh fruits and vegetable always as much as possible to make our body healthy and to boost our immunity. Two years ago I always served unhealthy foods but when my husband good sick I learned my lesson and i will never let it happened again.

That’s right, it’s more healthy to prepare your own food and you also know what kind ingredients which went to your food. So you can control that food to be healthy. Even though prepare your own food might be troublesome but it’s cheaper and healthier after all. And yes chicken sandwich is delicious and healthy. Eating delicious and healthy foods are always fun.

I love chicken sandwiches!!! The first time I had my chemo, 2 years ago, there came a lady offering me hospital lunch. I didn`t know better so I bought it. YUCK! The next time, and during all my treatment, I take chicken sandwiches and ground cappichino coffee. The nurse aids lend me a cup and I havre a good lunch.

Chicken sandwich is really great and very healthy too. Were doing our best to eat healthy food because my husband has a history of cancer so we need to be careful for what we eat. Thanks

I used grilling pan by sunnex and it cost almost 700 pesos in SM.

Yes to prepare your own food is fun and healthy in a restaurant or any food chain outside, part of what you are paying goes to services add on make the food expensive.
